NFL Predictions 2024-2025 Season

"Holding Grudges", Season of The Get Back

NFL Predictions 2024-2025 Season: “Holding Grudges”, Season of The Get Back

NFL Teams

Welcome back to another season! It’s been long awaited since the Super Bowl ended in a photo finish this past February with the Kansas City Chiefs taking the crown for two years in a row. Today, we're diving into one of the most anticipated topics of the year—our 2024 NFL season predictions. We'll break down our picks for division winners, playoff contenders, and even go as far as projecting who's lifting the Lombardi Trophy in February.

A main factor that prohibits teams from making long runs into the season is attrition and it has started a bit earlier than usual with a long list of injuries. These specific ones have already called the season a wrap for certain franchises, with hope for a late run from others. Here are some specific notes:

ATLANTA FALCONS

Atlanta Falcons

“Clipped Talons Equal Failure to Fly”- The Atlanta Falcons have a plethora of players on IR, including a major piece in streaky WR Rondale Moore. With the question of who still will start at QB not answered between Cousins and Penix Jr., the season already gives them more questions than answers. Expect the Falcons to be in some rough games but stay in it due to their improved defense.

BALTIMORE RAVENS

Baltimore Ravens

“Another MVP? Nevermore”- The Ravens struck gold getting RB Derrick Henry for their backfield to partner with reigning MVP Lamar Jackson. This will definitely bolster their running game to new heights. A factor that’s giving cause to pause however is the list of people they have on their injury list. While there isn’t anyone out for the season, a team wants their entire roster to be as healthy as possible from the word “go,” and the little nicks could turn into serious knacks if they are not careful. Make no mistake about it, they still are a force to be reckoned with Henry and Jackson in the back, but the small injuries are still worth noting since they could hinder Lamar’s production and stop a back to back MVP reign.

CLEVELAND BROWNS

Cleveland Browns

“Brown In The Dumps”- Cleveland wants to make a serious push and earn their status as an actual contender in the league. The problem is it begins and ends with elite RB Nick Chubb, full stop. He still has a way to go in rehab recovering from his knee injury that put him out for a great deal of time last year. With a possible trade rumor involving WR Amari Cooper coming out in the preseason, the Browns need to be careful in not putting their QB Deshaun Watson in an uncompromising position.

DALLAS COWBOYS

Dallas Cowboys

“Not Dem Boyz”- As it seems every year, there’s drama in Jerry World. The Dallas Cowboys welcomed RB Ezekiel Elliott back to the family, but they seem to continue having trouble keeping their receivers happy. Although WR CeeDee Lamb doesn’t have a particular injury, he is listed as OUT due to holding out for a bigger contract in lieu of his current rookie deal he’s on. With numerous injuries on the line, the Cowboys seem to have more problems than solutions and no matter how much money Jerry Jones throws at it, they seem to resurface. I think a potential owner switch may be in the works depending on how bad the season goes (Check Predictions coming up.)

MINNESOTA VIKINGS

Minnesota Vikings

“Ship Will Not Set Sail”- It seems as if no matter how much good the Minnesota Vikings do, they still seem to end up in the realm of bad luck. They put their future in rookie QB J.J. McCarthy and he gets an injury that has him repairing a torn meniscus in his right knee. Sam Darnold is here, yes, but the offense still has some kinks that need to be worked out. Jordan Addison is recovering from an accident, and we just hope that Justin Jefferson wants to stay in Minnesota after the season is over for parity reasons.

CHICAGO BEARS

Chicago Bears

“Bear Up??” - From NFC cellar dwellers to playoff hopefuls, the Chicago Bears look to have the most promising season. Led by rookie QB Caleb Williams with comparisons of a hybrid between Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen, the team seems to have its most solid nucleus of an offense they’ve had since the Jay Cutler days(Last NFCCG was 2011 against the Packers.) Injuries haven’t plagued them in this offseason, so the only way they can go from here is up.

Now let’s make some Division Winner Predictions, starting with the AFC.
**[AFC Division Winners]**

1. AFC East

AFC East Teams

Buffalo Bills

BUFFALO BILLS
This division along with the AFC North has gone under a complete makeover. The Buffalo Bills are looking to continue their reign as division winners sans Stefon Diggs leading their receiving corp. Gabe Davis went back home to Florida, so it’s looking like the offense will be run-heavy which is in favor of superstar QB Josh Allen. He looks to go for a MVP run this year, and fantasy football aficionados are drooling at the potential stats he’ll drop this season. Here’s some insight: imagine Cam Newton on a higher level.

NEW YORK JETS

New York Jets

The New York Jets are looking to remove any inkling of what was last season that is left out of their and their fans’ minds. What seemed to be a promising season turned into a depressing debacle with the instant Aaron Rodgers’ injury that took him out for the whole season. No matter how many formations they came up with, the Jets couldn’t seem to get over the rope. With time to heal and time to get their mental straight, the Jets look clear for takeoff with a healthy Aaron Rodgers manning the 11 out there. If he’s remotely anything like he was with his play with the Green Bay Packers, expect the ceiling to be past the stratosphere for the Jets.

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

New England Patriots

The New England Patriots are in uncharted territory: This is their first season in a long time without the names Tom Brady or Bill Belichick anywhere on their roster. Led by first year coach Jerod Mayo and possibly rookie QB Drake Maye, the Pats are starting this new era trying to find their identity within a division that will focus on taking advantage of their naïveté. This was evident from them moving on from previous QB Mac Jones. Consider this a developmental season, and any progress is good progress.

MIAMI DOLPHINS

Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins are looking to redeem themselves from quite a humiliating finish last year. They started out hot, but literally got cold at the worst time and lost in the biting cold(lost their chance at a home division game Week 18 then lost the Wild Card the following week in Kansas City.) Miami brings back the majority of their high-octane offense, led by Tua Tagovailoa at the QB and Tyreek Hill as an all-elite WR1.

Conclusion: Miami I think has learned their lesson on not letting their foot off the gas. They will pick up where they left off before the weather got cold. The Jets will not be too far behind, leaning more on their defense with a respectable offense. The Bills will struggle albeit Josh Allen will possibly have his best stat lines ever, and the Patriots fan base will have to deal with the growing pains under a new regime.

Miami (13-4)
New York Jets (12-5)
Buffalo (8-9)
New England (4-13)

2. AFC North

AFC North Teams

Cincinnati Bengals

CINCINNATI BENGALS
With a couple of setbacks last year, the Cincinnati Bengals are looking for revenge against the rest of their division due to them just missing the playoffs last year in a few nail-biters. Joe Burrow is as healthy as he can be with a new haircut to match, and even though they have a few receiver issues(contracts not finalized,) I find it hard to believe they will fumble their bag that is keeping their offensive core together that includes Jamaar Chase and Tee Higgins. They with a refined overall team will look to continue where they left off a few years ago on their Super Bowl run.

BALTIMORE RAVENS

Baltimore Ravens Vs LA Rams

The Baltimore Ravens are sticking to their run-first offense by powering their backfield. All-Pro RB Derrick Henry joins the fray from the Titans to form one of the most formidable one-two punches in the league. Keeping their receivers from last year, they look to stay atop the conference and redeem themselves from a brutal AFCCG loss against the Chiefs last playoffs.
Jackson will be hungry for a Super Bowl this year since he has achieved everything else except making the championship game.

PITTSBURGH STEELERS

Russell Wilson QB of The Pittsburgh Steelers

Pittsburgh will not be the pitts for the Steelers. There have been a few struggle points since Big Ben Roethlisberger went into the sunset, but have had above .500 records since Mike Tomlin started coaching the franchise. They’re moving on from Kenny Pickett and picked up QBs Russell Wilson and Justin Fields. Both are gunning for the starting position and right now it’s a dead heat.  Based off the Steelers keeping their football philosophy intact, they will still finish above .500 this year, but be a dark horse/late entry into the playoffs.

CLEVELAND BROWNS

Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns are playing the “survival of the fittest” game this year. Elite RB Nick Chubb is still recovering from his injury last year and is expected to make his debut in the middle of the season. With streaky WR Jerry Jeudy coming back into the fray later in the year too, QB Deshaun Watson needs to play conservative while letting his world-stopping defense play things out led by DE Myles Garrett. If they can weather the storm that is the first half of the season while staying alive on the tail end, they have a strong chance of winning the division if they defend their home turf(They were 8-1 last year in their stadium.)

Cincinnati (13-4)
Baltimore (11-6) *division record 3-3*
Cleveland (11-6) *division record 2-4*
Pittsburgh (7-10)

3. AFC South

AFC South Teams

Houston Texans

HOUSTON TEXANS
The Houston Texans are looking to capitalize off their success last year. With some new weapons in their offensive arsenal, they look to be formidable against any opponent they face. Although youth will be their Achilles heel, their talent should carry them far this year. Expect young QB phenom CJ Stroud to make a strong MVP Push, if not OPOY.

JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars will want to redeem themselves after a humiliating defeat to the Texans last year which crushed their playoff hopes. QB Trevor Lawrence got his big payday, and WR Gabe Davis looks to bring some of that Buffalo pedigree to lift up his hometown faithful. With questions on defense still, their progression to being a contender is still a mystery.

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts are still in a developmental program with QB Anthony Richardson manning the front. With Michael Pittman Jr. and Jonathan Taylor as part of his crew, they will look to get better from last year, and any progress is good progress.

TENNESSEE TITANS

The Tennessee Titans are on a clean slate. Letting RB Derrick Henry go to Baltimore to try for a Super Bowl run, Tennessee is looking forward to the draft to start building up their roster again. They have WR DeAndre Hopkins to help them with the veteran leadership, but their work will be cut out for them.

Houston (14-3)
Jacksonville (10-7)
Indianapolis (8-9)
Tennessee (3-14)

4. AFC West

AFC West Teams

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

Usually this division is the most competitive which results in a season-long bloodbath. This year however, due to certain teams bolstering up their rosters, there may be a bit more distance in record than usual.

The Kansas City Chiefs look to 3-peat, something that hasn’t happened in the Super Bowl Era. All-world leading QB Patrick Mahomes is still manning the front, and he has no plans of stopping anytime soon. With new receivers on the team to already add on to their high-powered offense, the Chiefs look to make their repeat season a real thing.

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS

Under new leadership by coach Jim Harbaugh, the Los Angeles Chargers are looking to turn over a new leaf: making sure that they don’t fall to their own demise off their own miscues. Hopefully with some QB tenure under his belt, Justin Herbert makes a leap into the elite discussion of playmakers.

LAS VEGAS RAIDERS

Las Vegas Raiders

If the Las Vegas Raiders could clone 52 more of HC Antonio Pierce, they would be all world with his tough mentality leading the Silver and Black. There was a QB struggle which lead to journeyman Gardner Minshew making his stop here hoping he could find a home. With an aggressive division and an even more unforgiving conference, the Raiders have their work cut out for them.

DENVER BRONCOS

Denver Broncos

Head Coach Sean Payton has things just as he wants them: him as the leader, no one to challenge him. Now that QB Russell Wilson is no longer a Denver Bronco, the team has a clean slate to make a name for themselves. This will be a developmental year, and any success they have will be considered a bonus.

Kansas City (12-5)
Los Angeles (9-8)
Las Vegas (4-13)
Denver (3-14)

The playoff results for the AFC will surprise you, but we’ll discuss that after going over the NFC division winners. Let’s start with the powerhouse that is the NFC East.

[NFC Division Winners]

1. NFC East

NFC East Teams

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

Philadelphia Eagles

After a horrific finish last year due to a rigorous schedule early on, the Philadelphia Eagles look to exact revenge on the NFC as a whole with a healed offense, and a rejuvenated defense. QB Jalen Hurts looks to build upon his relationship with his offensive crew, and with Saquon Barkley looking to revitalize his career after a dismal end with the Giants, the team is laser focused.

WASHINGTON COMMANDERS

Washington Commanders

The Washington Commanders have their new leader: Rookie QB Jaylen Daniels. The team is rejuvenated with a young nucleus and looks to make a splash in the conference playoff picture. Their defense is still a question mark, but time will tell whether the team will gel in the right direction or not. Veteran Bobby Wagner will help give the defense an aggressive pedigree, and RB Austin Ekeler will give their offense a solid boost around the endzone.

DALLAS COWBOYS

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott

The Dallas Cowboys are a perplexing situation. There’s turmoil within the team, but it starts from up top: GM Jerry Jones. Thankfully they were able to retain All-Pro WR CeeDee Lamb with a lucrative contract. They decided to welcome RB Ezekiel Elliott back home. Trevon Diggs is back from an ACL injury that took him out for all of last year. Even with him back, they didn’t make any noise in the offseason, which is alarming for a team that expects to make it to the Super Bowl.

NEW YORK GIANTS

New York Giants

The New York Giants are in a close to unanimous vote when it comes to lack of faith in QB Daniel Jones. RB Saquon Barkley decided to look for greener pastures down the New
Jersey Turnpike and settled on Broad Street, so now rookie WR Malik Nabers is looking to continue the dynamic receiver play for the Giants that vanished when Odell Beckham Jr. left.

Philadelphia (15-2)
Washington (10-7)
Dallas (6-11)
New York (4-13)

2. NFC North

NFC North Teams

NFC The North. Expect nothing short of a cold bloodbath in this division. Green Bay and Detroit look to pick up where they left off: in the divisional rounds and better. Chicago’s young bunch look to make a splash that’ll turn into a tsunami, meanwhile Minnesota is trying to pick up the pieces that is their tumultuous offseason with rookie J.J. McCarthy going out with a season-ending injury.

GREEN BAY PACKERS

Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers are in love with star QB Jordan Love. He is a chip off the Packer QB tree block, and had an amazing season last year despite being the 7th seed. The receiver Christian Watson looks to not have a sophomoric slump and capitalize off his dominant run as a rookie.

DETROIT LIONS

Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions had a phenomenal season last year. They reached the NFC Championship Game for the first time in a long time. Unfortunately due to miscues they made in the 2nd half, they cheated themselves out of a Super Bowl. QB Jared Goff has finally found himself a home and the Lions along with Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jahmyr Gibbs look to continue to make the most noise in this competitive conference. They are looking to see if a year under their belt will increase their chemistry.

CHICAGO BEARS

Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears have cleaned house. The project that was under QB Justin Fields was a complete wash. Rookie QB Caleb Williams is the talk of Chi-Town, and with a notable WR core to help him, they look to leave the era of Bad News Bears behind. His mechanics differ from Justin Fields: he has mobility, but has more pocket presence.

MINNESOTA VIKINGS

Minnesota Vikings

The chant for the Minnesota Vikings is “Skol.” Based off recent events, the Vikings might get scol-ded by their fans for another potentially disappointing season. They gave up their longtime QB Kirk Cousins to the A, and drafted J.J. McCarthy in hopes to give him the reins. There was hype, but then an injury crushed all that noise. If things don’t get better soon, not only will it get cold in Minnesota, a certain player might want out of the team for good. If this happens, expect the entire NFL to turn over in its sleep. Here’s the kicker: the numbers almost match out to where both teams might benefit.

Green Bay (10-7)
Chicago (9-8)
Detroit (9-8)
Minnesota (5-12)

3. NFC South

Grudge Matches. Expect nothing but grudge matches from this division. Often having mediocre finishes since Tom Brady left the Buccaneers in 2023 to retire, the NFC South plans to take themselves back to a time where they were respected, and not just another bye week for opponents. Baker Mayfield plans to lead that front with experience and a new-found leadership role.

ATLANTA FALCONS

Atlanta Falcons. The first thing you think of when hearing about them is 28-3, a Super Bowl nightmare they wish they could erase forever. Now, they’re bringing in new talent like TE Kyle Pitts, Veteran QB Kirk Cousins, and rookie QB Michael Penix Jr. With this mix of a core, they plan to bring back some respect to a franchise that has long awaited to get back to the big dance to avenge that humiliating defeat.

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Baker Mayfield had a resurgence in his NFL career after being the starter last season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They went to the second round of the playoffs and had a hard-fought divisional matchup against the Detroit Lions, but came up short. This put the NFL on notice that they are no joke to play with and that they are a solid team after Brady left. Three straight years as NFC South Champions is nothing to sneeze at, they’ve worked very hard and have been a tough team to play against over the span of about 7 years.

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints are perplexing to see. They have veteran presence in their locker room, but there’s nothing that they are specifically strong at skill wise. Derek Carr has went from Las Vegas to NO and the results so far have been less than stellar. From the offseason, it doesn’t look as if they’ve made any big changes and although they’re more balanced than other teams, it still doesn’t seem as if they’ll have enough to get over that hump.

CAROLINA PANTHERS

Carolina Panthers

While the Carolina Panthers will “Keep Pounding,” they still have a way to go before they see a playoff berth in their view. Their schedule favors them in the early part of the season, and Bryce Young hasn’t quit yet, so the only way the Panthers can go is up. Any step up will be progress for they are a developmental team looking towards a future.

Tampa Bay (10-7)
Atlanta (9-8)
Carolina (7-10)
New Orleans (3-14)

4. NFC West

LOS ANGELES RAMS

Los Angeles Ram

Let’s be honest. This division has been a powerhouse since the turn of the decade. Three out of the last five Super Bowls have had the NFC West division winner included, with only the Rams being a winner. Their West Coast style offense has been done at their opponent’s mercy. They look to continue their dominance for another year.

The Los Angeles Rams are now living in a post-Aaron Donald era, picking up all the pieces. They still have a bunch of great pieces including second-year star WR Puka Nacua alongside with Cooper Kupp. Their team is respected enough to be able to make a playoff run, the question is how far can they go if they’re fully healthy?

ARIZONA CARDINALS

Arizona Cardinals

Although he love video games, last season was not a game for QB Kyler Murray. Coming back from an ACL injury that kept him out for a long period of time, he played a few games last year and took some time before he looked like his usual self. With new receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., The Arizona Cardinals look to get back to being a respectable team, and they have the pieces to make some legit noise.

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

The Seattle Seahawks will be sleepless in their effort to get back into the playoffs, and their receiving core looks to lead them, but there’s still some questions regarding QB Geno Smith: Can he lead the way? Is he just a game manager and they need to go after another QB? Smith will have all the chance to answer these questions this season and put that anxiety to rest.

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

San Francisco 49ers

There is a reason I mentioned the San Francisco 49ers last. They’ve been knocking on the Super Bowl Champion door for YEARS in their quest for Six. The teams they’ve had were very formidable. The issue that comes up a lot is that they have had an unfortunate injury year after year plague them in the playoffs, especially Dre Greenlaw in the Super Bowl. I think they will make a splash that will shake the NFL to its core:

HOT PREDICTION:
THE 49ERS ARE GOING TO GO ALL IN, FOR BROKE AND MAKE A MID-SEASON TRADE.

I think the San Francisco 49ers will trade Brandon Aiyuk to the Minnesota Vikings for Elite receiver Justin Jefferson. Since Aiyuk got his money in his new 4-year contract, the numbers almost match enough for it to be a fair trade: Aiyuk gets his own team where he will be the main receiver and get touches, and Jefferson will get a chance to compete for the Super Bowl EVERY YEAR. Jefferson would complete the nucleus the 49ers have been trying to form for a very long time.
Justin Jefferson will get tired of the mediocrity looming around Minnesota and want not just greener pastures, but warmer ones too. A trade like this will spread the offensive load: CMC will get his carries but not be overused, Deebo Samuel will fly under EVERYONE’S radar and have an amazing season, and the other receivers will feel free as ever with JJ getting double teamed where they will get more than their own share of yards. Don’t be surprised if this gets done by Week 11 and pundits lose their minds.

San Francisco (13-4)
Arizona (9-8)
Los Angeles (6-11)
Seattle (5-12)

NFL PLAYOFF PREDICTIONS

Let’s go ahead and list the seedings for the playoffs listed by each conference.

AFC PLAYOFF SEEDING:
1. Houston Texans (Home Field Advantage in AFC Playoff) (14-3)
2. Cincinnati Bengals (13-4) AFC North Winner
3. Miami Dolphins (13-4) AFC East Winner
4. Kansas City Chiefs (12-5) AFC West Winner
5. Wild Card 1: New York Jets (12-5)
6. Wild Card 2: Baltimore Ravens (11-6) *Better division record*
7. Wild Card 3: Cleveland Browns (11-6)

NFC PLAYOFF SEEDING
1. Philadelphia Eagles (Home Field Advantage Throughout Playoffs) (15-2)
2. San Francisco 49ers (13-4) NFC West Winner
3. Green Bay Packers (10-7) NFC North Winner
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (10-7) NFC South Winner
5. Wild Card 1: Washington Commanders (10-7)
6. Wild Card 2: Arizona Cardinals (9-8)
7. Wild Card 3: Chicago Bears (9-8)

AFC Wild Card Matchups

7 Cleveland v 2 Cincinnati  CIN 31 CLE 23
Cleveland loves their Dawg Pound. They’ve been a force at home. Away??? They weren’t always the best. They will give it a fight, but Cincinnati under Joe Burrow will be headstrong and live to play another home game.
6 Baltimore v 3 MIA  MIA 35 BAL 30
Miami finally has the dice rolling their way: they are in the playoffs and they have a home game. This is usually a recipe for success. As great as Baltimore’s rush game will be all year, the Dolphins’ high octane offense will be in rhythm and coast to a victory.
5 New York v 4 Kansas City KC 24 NY 23
Aaron Rodgers v Patrick Mahomes is always must see TV. This is the official torch passing NFL greats give when they realize they’ve given it all they can muster. The Chiefs will win on a GW FG against a hard fought matchup by the Jets, who will have made their presence known to the NFL future.

AFC Divisional Matchups

4 Kansas City v 1 Houston KC 38 HOU 31
CJ Stroud is the future of the NFL. The Texans have an offense in the AFC that will continue to contend for years to come. The crowd will be out of this world. As the old saying goes though, you can’t teach experience. The old guard prevails to a very familiar place: the AFCCG.
3 Miami v 2 Cincinnati MIA 31 CIN 20
For so long, Miami has been known to have cold feet when it comes to performing in cold weather. They purposely have trained this year to get rid of that monkey off their back. QB Tua Tagovailoa and WR Tyreek Hill have made themselves a formidable 1-2 punch. In rhythm, their offense will overpower Cincinnati’s to bring them to a duel of last year’s first round matchup, but this time they are in their home.

AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
4 Kansas City v 3 Miami KC 39 MIA 36
Miami. Night lights. All the stars. Home game for the chance to the Big Dance in New Orleans. Everything seems to have gone right for the Dolphins this season except one continuous buzz saw that has got in everyone’s way in the conference: Patrick Mahomes II. This high flying battle has both teams giving their all in a matchup to remember. The Chiefs however will make it back to the Super Bowl to go for the three-peat.
_________________________________________________________________________________
Now we discuss the NFC. This playoff conference will be a bar fight to say the very least.

NFC Wild Card Matchups
7 Chicago v 2 San Francisco SF 30 CHI 17
Caleb Williams has made his debut into the NFL. Now he is making his playoff debut and fared well.. but the 49ers new offense with Justin Jefferson has gelled right on time along with their lynchpin of a defense.
6 Arizona v 3 Green Bay ARI 30 GB 24
This run by Arizona will do nothing short of cementing Kyler Murray’s resurgence into the playoff fray for years to come. His under 4.4 speed will help carry the Cardinals into a bird war with the Eagles, with no love lost towards the Packers.
5 Washington vs 4 Tampa Bay WAS 24 TB 20
Caleb Williams may win the Rookie of the Year, but as they always say, life is a marathon. Led by rookie QB Jayden Daniels, the Commanders will command a strong upset over Tampa Bay and show that they are no longer a joke in the NFC East. The fanbase will remember this win for years to come in hopes of a consistently bright future for the franchise.

NFC Divisional Matchups
6 Arizona v 1 Philadelphia PHI 35 ARI 23
In a Battle of the Birds, the well-rested Eagles will show that they mean business behind a great game from QB Jalen Hurts. They didn’t forget all the jokes thrown at them for last year’s snafu, and they intend to make good on their promise to exact vengeance on the league.
5 Washington v 2 San Francisco SF 26 WAS 20
The defense of Washington gives San Francisco a big scare. Jayden Daniels continues to make his rookie season one to remember, but Justin Jefferson and the 49ers will have something to say while they prepare for their ongoing duel vs. Philadelphia.

NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
2 San Francisco v 1 Philadelphia PHI 33 SF 27 (OT)
This rematch from last year will contain everything: drama, suspense, and heartbreak. The 49ers will start very strong this game due to formulating an offense to stop the Eagles Defense, but Hurts and the crew will show their championship pedigree to weather that ferocious storm of an offense and force quite the upset in overtime. This brings them to New Orleans for a rematch to settle a score.

SUPER BOWL 59(XLIX)
4 Kansas City v 1 Philadelphia

Kansas City lives their regular season life on Cruise Control: remaining steady, then revving things up come late November on. Philadelphia has learned from their mistakes the year before with a high-powered offense led by Hurts, and their solid defense which is bound to give Patrick Mahomes many headaches. The Eagles improved their defense to avoid the miscues made last matchup with them and will overcome the championship DNA Mahomes and Co. has to hoist up Super Bowl trophy number two.

PHI 37 KC 31
Jalen Hurts will win Super Bowl MVP and it will be sweet success for him. Last year many doubted his skills after a dismal end and he worked hard in the offseason to get to this point. To hold that trophy up high will be an indication that the work has not gone in vain.

This season will have many grudge matches while showing that the league will never be devoid of talent. Here are some league award winner predictions:

NFL MVP: Justin Jefferson
Offensive Player of the Year: Christian McCaffrey
Offensive Rookie of the Year: Marvin Harrison Jr.
Defensive Rookie of the Year: Laiatu Latu
Defensive Player of the Year: TJ Watt
Coach of The Year: Jonathan Gannon (Arizona)
Comeback Player of the Year: Kyler Murray.

I’d like to thank you for reading my first NFL Prediction article. Football has been one of my favorite sports since I was very young, and to be able to write about what goes on in my mind as far as predictions and thoughts is a dream. I look forward to giving you great content for the rest of the year.
